Kristi attended and graduated from the Aveda Institute in Covington, Louisiana. In January 2007 she started her esthetics career at the local spa where her dad used to send her for special occasions. Kristi mastered her way from the booking desk and spa coordination, to esthetics trainer in just a few years.

2009 was a pivotal year in Kristi's career. She retired from the Louisiana Army and Air National Guard after 22 years of service in public affairs. She had also shifted her esthetics practice from the relaxing day spa setting to the fast-paced medical field of dermatology.  There she trained and worked on the latest laser technology to address skin concerns.

In 2012 Kristi created an esthetics program at a local makeup boutique and tailored it to treat skin concerns effectively and efficiently.  She grew her practice there until the next growth opportunity presented itself.

Kristi was introduced to the field of Oncology Esthetics at a Master Esthetician training session in 2014. That led her to become a certified volunteer with the American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better Program.  She teaches women undergoing medical treatments how to care for their hair, skin and nails.
The year 2016 marked Kristi's 10th year as an esthetician, so she took a leap of faith and embarked on the next leg of her journey - opening her very own spa - Kristi King, Your Skin and Brow Specialist. With the full support of her husband Jeff, daughter Kali, family and friends, Kristi  continues her skincare and brow design from a quaint little cottage in historic Old Mandeville.

to infinity & beyond

April 5, 2017 Kristi celebrated her 1st anniversary in the Old Mandeville Skincare Cottage. What a rewarding year it has been. Much love & thanks go out to all the wonderful & supportive people in Kristi's life.

There is no doubt that Kristi will continue pursuing treatments that will help others love their skin to infinity and beyond because she loves what she does. And her daddy always said, "If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life."
